“The Aquarium is Scary Mum” was inspired by a visit to the Kuwait Aquarium at the Scientific Centre in Salmiya when the author, Suzanne Jankowski, noticed a very frightened little boy who was scared of all the underwater creatures. Luckily Mum is there to explain that the fish aren’t after her son. The fish are scared of him!
The accompanying CD brings the book to life even when an adult is not there to read the book. Children are enthralled by the rhythm and rhyme and quickly learn to “read along” with Suzanne.
